Our Story:
Avalon came into being in 1968 in the town of Canal Fulton, Ohio, about 20 minutes from Akron. Known then as Avalon Trailer Sales, they handled many lines of trailers, including Airstream. They quickly became one of the largest Airstream dealers in the nation based on superior service and fair pricing, standards that still exist today with Avalon RV Center.
One thing led to another with the addition of motorhomes and soon Avalon had outgrown its original home.
In 1984 Avalon RV Center, as it is now known, moved to its new state of the art facility on 27 acres, 10 of which are fenced, on Rt 18 between I-77 and I-71 in the Medina, Ohio area. The new facility boasts 2 indoor showrooms with sales offices, parts and service departments, corporate offices, a paint and body repair facility and 21 service bays.
Avalon RV Center is still family owned and operated today, it employs approximately 40 people including both industry trained and certified service technicians, sales associates and managers. Avalon RV Center has approximately 25 million dollars in inventory with hundreds of RV's to choose from, the widest array in the area.
